The supplies you’ll need to dive into this process are minimal and I encourage you to use the materials you already have on hand that you already enjoy working with.
Here are the basics of what you’ll need:
SUPPLY LIST:
– Acrylic Paints in colors of your choice
I like to have some Golden Titanium White Heavy Bodied acrylic on hand.
– Substrate of your choice (this can be heavy watercolor paper, wood, canvas, the pages of your journal, whatever suits your fancy!)
– Images to reference (printed or on a screen) that represent objects, experiences, or personal qualities that you want to create in your life.
– Your favorite artist brushes
– water container, rags/wipes, etc.

OPTIONAL SUPPLIES:
Plaster of Paris
White Gesso
Glue of your choice (I like Liquitex Matte Medium)
Masking tape (if you want to protect the edges of your substrate)
Your favorite mark making tools (pencils, pens, awls)
Collage papers (printed images, magazine pages, scrapbooking papers)
Spreading tool such as a rubber spreader, old credit card, offset spatula, or palette knife
